Founded in 1991, the Joint Clinical Research Centre is one of Uganda’s leading medical institutions. Renowned for its groundbreaking work in HIV/AIDS treatment and research, JCRC has expanded its expertise to include cancer care, clinical trials, and advanced medical research. The center is jointly owned by the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Ministry of Defence (MOD), and Makerere University.
